No, this is not a bluetooth earpiece

Just a heads-up to look out for the sneaky people stealing the bluetooth - err, the cochlear implant ear piece. Makes no sense, but I've been approached several times to remove the earpiece - until I showed the magnets headpiece. They got spooked as I showed how to put it back on.

You were actually approached by somebody and asked to remove your CI?? Even supposing it WAS a bluetooth headpiece, I can't comprehend why somebody would ask you to remove it!!!

LOL!!! At the moment DS still has BWP- but if we move to BTE I'm sure I'll get looks from some old lady in Costco or Walmart about 'that mom' letting her young child have one of 'those phones' in his ear!!! thanks for the laugh today! I am sure it is not a laughing matter for you- but you almost have to laugh at it..kwim?

Never had that yet but I do get very strange looks from people. I like to imagine they are saying to themselves 'Hmm, he's got a new phone device attached to his head....ATTACHED TO HIS HEAD? What kind of person...? And what's with that odd looking earpiece....? Hey, he's CIA! Or MI5. Or...or...." Priceless. It's when you casually tell people about the bits INSIDE your head that they usually freak out.
